The Sx Series System replaces the popular S200 speaker, now discontinued, but popular with broadcasters and theatres for its ease of handling, clean sound and almost indestructibility on the road. The Sx Series System has a similar rugged moulded polypropylene cabinet but replaces the ‘flat’ design of the S200 with a trapezoidal form, giving improved flexibility in array and monitor applications. With two speaker options and a range of rigging and processing accessories, this is a complete system offering solutions to all but the largest reinforcement applications.
Sx300e Full Range Speaker
The Sx300e is a compact 2 way full range speaker capable of handling 300W continuous power and deliver a maximum SPL of over 131dB, with 12″ bass driver and unique ‘varipath’ HF horn design, giving excellent coverage, better than the 65° x 65° paper specification would suggest. Capable of handling a wide range of material with accuracy and detail as well as standing up to the rigours of the road, with carry handles, Speakon connectors and flying and stand mounting points. Impedance: 8 ohms, weight: 14.5kg.
Sb122 Passive Bass Speaker
The Sb122 is a compact, lightweight woofer system designed to add bass enhancement to the Sx Series of speaker systems. The specifically designed 12 inch driver is capable of handling 400W continuous power and delivers a maximum SPL of 131dB. A passive low-pass filter is fitted, to best make use of the 45Hz-600Hz frequency response of this unit. Just as the Sx300e, it has carry handles, Speakon connectors and flying and stand mounting points. Impedance: 8 ohms, weight: 15kg.
Sx Series System Accessories
Mb200 is a cost effective pressed steel ‘C’ bracket for attaching cabinets to walls or ceilings, allowing the cabinet to be tilted along the major axis.
