ISDN CODEC LOOPBACK SERVICE

As a service to clients, Canford offers a facility to conduct full signal-path tests for ISDN codecs. In each case, the analogue stereo audio outputs of the codecs are normally left looped back to the inputs to enable users of Prontos and all compatible codecs to verify remotely correct operation of their own equipment. In each case, the same number should be dialled a second time to connect with the second channel.

0191 418 1002 connects to a codec operating in MPEG Layer 2 (“MPEG”) mode

0191 418 1003 connects to a codec operating in MPEG Layer 3 (“MP3”) mode
