MICROPHONE FLAGS
An idea invented to promote TV and radio stations when microphones are seen in shot in news footage. The flag consists of a low-reflection black or white inverted square or triangular “cup”, with a circular hole in it. It is filled with foam (similar to that used on windshields) with a hole cut through it. It slides up the shaft of the microphone, and the foam holds it at the base of the head of the mic.
