PAG PORTABLE POWER

PAG rechargeable battery and lighting products are used on a wide range of portable equipment in the professional broadcast, film and video industries. These include cameras, recorders, lights and picture monitors. See also: PAG portable location lighting.

PAG produce ranges of batteries using Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-Ion chemistries in a range of voltage and capacities. These include units with on-board microprocessors which can give operators feedback about the condition of battery and remaining capacity. They also produce sophisticated battery analyser/chargers which sense the type of battery present, through its terminals, and charge it optimally.

PAG have their own, industry-standard, two-part PAGlok connector system for batteries. PAG also support alternative battery system standards, including Anton Bauer SnapOn and Sony NP1, with their own compatible batteries and chargers.

Another standard introduced by PAG is the ubiquitous “Pagbelt” range of battery belts, primarily for the powering of camcorders and lighting units in operation by one person. For extended use of multiple battery systems PAG also provide a comprehensive range of adapters and accessories for charging and operation of equipment.
