SIFAM VU METERS
Sifam VU meters, fully meeting BS6840: Part 17:1991 and IEC268-17:1990, are essentially low range AC volt meters suitable for connecting across a 600 ohm line. They are self-contained except for requiring an external 3.6k ohm resistor.
The meters are calibrated for use with a 3.6k ohm resistor so that reference deflection (0 VU) is produced by a signal 4 VU above 1mW into 600 ohm (1.228V). The standard scale marking is –20 to 0VU in black and 0…
