CANARE FCT- FCKIT SMPTE HDTV FIBRE CAMERA CABLE CHECKER

The FCT-FCKIT battery-powered field test-kit allows fast, easy confirmation of the integrity of both fibre and copper cores within SMPTE 311 and ARIB hybrid cables fitted with Canare FC or Lemo 3K HDTV SMPTE304M connectors.

The back-lit display indicates optic loss and copper continuity through all six conductors and the shield in cables up to 3.5km in length. The kit consists of a palm sized (46x46x150mm) signal generator and measuring unit plus a loop-back unit which must be fitted to the other end of the cable. It requires two AA batteries which have a life of approximately 20 hours.

Supplied complete with soft storage case, batteries and fibre cleaning sticks.
