HHB DTRS TAPES
The precision engineered cassette used with HHB DTRS ensures smooth handling of the tape, which itself uses a strong, flexible base film to eradicate stretching and snapping. The HHB DTRS range is a double-coated metal-particle DTRS officially approved by Tascam for use with their latest generation of 8 track recorders, and deliver significant benefits in both conventional 16-bit and hi-resolution DTRS recording applications.
HHB DTRS media uses a revolutionary Double Coated Metal Particle tape. The tape base is coated with an ultra-thin upper layer of high-energy metal magnetic particles while a lower layer of ultra-fine non-magnetic particles is applied simultaneously during an exacting manufacturing process. A rugged binder compound enhances the durability of the magnetic layer even after repeated passes and a lubricant impregnated into the non-magnetic layer ensures the consistent lubrication of the tape during use.
