Description
NEUTRIK NANOCON
Claimed to be the “smallest multipin connector in the world”, this 3 pole connector series takes Neutrik to their smallest yet. The cable mount housing, with its largest outside diameter of only 6mm, will accept cables from 1.00mm to 3.00mm, such as lavalier mic and earphone cables, for such applications as radio mic transmitter packs etc. The alloy cable housing features the standard design of Neutrik chuck, and accepts either male or female inserts, to take machined, gold-plated, pin or socket contacts respectively.
The panel connectors are supplied with inserts pre-fitted, with contacts fitted (NR3F-S, NR3M-S) or without (NR3F, NR3M). These use the same solder contacts as the cable types. These “hard wiring” types are fitted with a “back nut”, and offer single hole fixing. Alternative versions, with, again, single hole fixing, this time with “front nuts” are the horizontal and vertical PCB mount types, supplied fully assembled with contacts. The connector bodies are equipped with polarising keyways, and “squeeze-to-unlatch” mechanisms.
The contacts accept maximum wire sizes 0.24mm² solid, 0.15mm² stranded.
