The Trantec S4.10 wireless range is next generation of 16-channel UHF wireless, replacing the Trantec S4.16 range. S4.10 offers the same range of full systems as its predecessor including handheld, headworn, and beltpack setups. Each system is available on either license-free channel 70, or channel 38, allowing up to ten simultaneous channels to be used. Belt packs can be switched for use with a microphone or musical instrument, and suitable lapel or head-worn microphones can be connected via the 3.5mm locking jack socket. Handheld transmitters have dynamic capsules. The handheld transmitter, belt-pack transmitter and desktop receiver use infrared signals to syncronise.

S4.10-RXA Receiver

The Trantec S4.10-RXA desktop receiver is available on channel 38, or license free channel 70. Using diversity technology and phase-locked-loop (PLL) quartz tuning, the user can manually select from any of the available sixteen channels, or search for an available frequency. Up to ten Trantec S4.10 systems can be used simultaneously, which allows use in education, theatre, gym, and hotel sectors.

LEDs on the front panel show the receiver's AF peak level, radio frequency level and from which of the diversity channels, A or B, the signal is being received. Channel set, sync and power buttons are easily accessible on the front. Two detachable antenna may be swivelled for optimum positioning or removed for safe transportation. On the rear there is a co-axial DC power input, a balanced XLR connection and an unbalanced 6.35mm jack output. A rack mount option is available for use with one or two receivers.

S4.10-HDX Handheld Transmitter

The S4.10-HDX cardioid, dynamic, handheld transmitters have a basket windshield and can be used on any of sixteen pre-programmed frequencies. Available on either channel 38, or license-free channel 70. A battery compartment can be revealed by rotating the collar which allows a sleeve to slide back and reveal a battery compartment, infrared port, channel LED display, and a switch to set frequency. On the end of the body is fixed antenna with on-off power switch.

Audio frequency response: 80 to 15000Hz. Audio input level: 140dB SPL maximum. RF carrier power: 10mW maximum. Operating time: 10 hours approximately using an alkaline battery. Power source: 1x AA 1.5V battery. Dimensions: 250 x 55mm (length x maximum diameter over head). Weight: 245g with battery.

S4.10-BTX Beltpack Transmitter

The S4.10-BTX pocket transmitter can operate for up to ten hours on a single AA battery. Includes belt-clip to enable easy transportation in use. 4.10-BTX operates on sixteen pre-programmed frequencies. The resin moulded plastic body has a sliding panel which reveals a battery compartment, controls to set frequency, gain and select either microphone or guitar input. On the top there is an on/off switch and power/battery LED. A screw-in antenna and a screw-locking 3.5mm input jack are also situated on the top of the transmitter pack.
