SPECTRA DYNAMICS ANTI-VIBRATION MATERIAL
Spectra Dynamics manufacture a range of anti-vibration and damping materials for use in the audio industry. Formulated from an advanced polyether based elastomer with low resilience, good impact absorbing properties and low compression set. Uses include loudspeaker isolation, panel damping and equipment isolation. Contact Technical Support for full specification.
Deflex Sheet - Acoustic Panels
Deflex sheet can be used to help cure localised damping problems. A damping panel about half the dimensions of a vibrating panel will often reduce rattles etc, whilst for damping inside speaker cabinets etc, a full size damping panel should be considered. Easily cut to shape with sharp scissors or knife, Deflex can also be used as a sealing gasket or cabinet port lining. Available in a range of thicknesses, sheet size 280 × 210mm.
Foculpod Mountings
Supplied as a pack of four isolation/damping pads 50mm diameter and 20mm high, with a flat top and polished spherical base, computer designed for uniform energy distribution. Ideal for separating turntables or CD players built into consoles, furniture etc or for damping other noisy equipment. Maximum load per pad 2.5 kg.
Deflex Adhesive
A special tacky adhesive for fixing Deflex panels to vertical surfaces etc. Foculpods have a sticky surface so do not need additional adhesive for normal usage under fixed equipment.
