PINTA ACOUSTIC PANELS
These specialist application panels differ from the more familiar ‘shaped’ tiles in having a flat, textured glass fabric surface. They are specifically intended for improvement of speech intelligibility, having particularly good absorption in the relevant speech-band frequencies. The low profile and simplicity of mounting means that they offer a very cost-effective means of treating new and old buildings and for renovation projects.
The absorption is optimal at speech frequencies, around 500-2000Hz for the 30mm thickness tile and 250-3000Hz for the 60mm version. Being based on Willtec foam, they retain their excellent fireproof ratings (for more details see under the main Pinta Acoustic Tiles entry), and are free from natural and synthetic fibres, halogens and CFC's. Fixing is as for standard Willtec tiles, using a contact adhesive. The rear face of the tile has a multi-layer aluminium film. More detailed specifications are available from Technical Support.
Panels are available in three sizes, each in two thicknesses, in white finish (there are some shipping restrictions on the 3000mm x 615mm tiles, please check with sales before ordering). Custom tile sizes and colours are available to special order. Two designs of inter-tile profiles are available, also a border edge profile (full details are available in the detailed specifications).
