Description

FUSES AND FUSEHOLDERS

Fuseholder

Low-profile panel mounting (12.8mm hole) with ‘pip’ keyway, touch-safe (to BS3042, IE257) screwdriver release 20mm fuse carrier. Hex nut fixing, max panel thickness 6.4mm. Depth behind panel 38mm. Terminals accept 2.8mm push-on receptacles, or can be directly soldered. Rated 10A, 250V AC. Moulded insulating covers also available.

20mm LBC glass fuses

20 × 5mm glass fuses, delay types (for use in equipment with high inrush currents), rated for up to 250V AC, and have breaking capacity of 35 amps, or 10 times rated current, whichever is greater. They comply with BS4265 and IEC127. Note: delay types are marked ‘T’ on end cap. Pack of 10.

20mm HBC ceramic fuses

20 × 5mm ceramic fuses, delay types, rated for up to 250V AC, and have breaking capacity of 1500 amps. They comply with BS4265 and IEC127. Pack of 10.

1 inch (25.4mm) ceramic fuses

25.4 × 6.3mm ceramic fuses, for use in UK domestic 13 amp plugs. Rated 240V AC, comply with BS1362. ASTA certified. Pack of 10.

Usage note:

For mains input fuses, the use of HBC types is preferred.
