ITT DIN 1.0/2.3 CONNECTORS AND TOOLS - Male, cable - Crimp - 3G HD-SDI
Push-pull coupling, sub-miniature 75 ohm coaxial connectors approved for use with the Miranda / N-Vision and other ranges of SD / HD and AES routers. Suitable for cable group X (Canford SDV, Belden 1855A and 1855ENH).
Gold-plated centre and outer mating contacts, with nickel-plated latching body. The centre contact may be soldered, or crimped using eight-indent crimp tool (55-827) and contact positioner (55-828), see Cabling accessories and tools section. The outer braid is secured with a conventional crimp sleeve, crimped with tool and jaws suitable for group X (see Crimp tools).
The DIN 1.0/2.3 series is used to achieve a very high density of connections on equipment rear panels and thus requires the use of the dedicated slimline removal tool to release the mating latch and to un-mate the connector.
