SKB CASES - Mixers and Small Equipment
Designed for use on the road, these cases are made from military grade polyethylene. There are models to accommodate a wide range of equipment ranging from ancillary equipment such as sequencers, through rack-mounting mixers up to 12U in height, to universal types with room for mixers with up to 32 channels.
All have moulded-in or hinged handles, and appropriate feet and skids.
SKB-1615 - Mini Mixer Case
Suitable to protect smaller mixers and ancillary electronic equipment, this is a briefcase style case, which may be locked. A heavy-duty polyethylene diced foam interior can be ‘picked and pulled’ to create a snug custom fit. Internal dimensions: 451 x 438 x 171mm maximum equipment size. External: 457 x 432 x 171mm.
SKB-1714 - Drum Machine, Sequencer, Sampler
Again a briefcase style case, which may be locked, the SKB-1714A is wider but less deep than the SKB-1615. Again, the heavy-duty polyethylene diced foam interior can be ‘picked and pulled’ to create a snug custom fit. Internal dimensions: 455 x 405 x 170mm maximum equipment size. External: 515 x 405 x 180mm.
SKB-2219P - Pop-Up Mixer Case
Outwardly a briefcase style design, this model has a hinged surface which may be pulled up to any of eight angles. The surface is covered with heavy-duty hook and loop fastener to which mixers and small equipment may be attached. The lid may be removed. Mounting surface: 476.25 x 546.1mm. Maximum equipment depth: 139.7mm. External dimensions: 533 x 616 x 254mm.
SKB19-P12 - Pop-Up Mixer Case - 12U Rack Mounting
The lid of this briefcase-style model lifts off: A hinged, frame tilts up and is held in position by a ratchet system. The frame provides 12U of rack-mounting space, suitable for 19-inch mounting mixers and other shallow equipment. The case stacks on top of SKB 19-inch rack cases. Rack-mounting depth: 127mm.
SKB-R1717 - Mixer Safe
Rotationally moulded, the SKB-R1717 has a built-in handle, moulded-in valence for a tight and precise seal, cut foam for protection, and corner cleats which attach to hook and loop fasteners to adjust to fit a variety of mixers. The case is held closed by a nylon strap. Internal dimensions: 457 x 432 x 108mm. Lid depth: 50.8mm.
Universal Mixer Safes
This family of two-part cases offers several models in a range of sizes to suit ‘virtually any’ non rack-mounting mixer. Corner cleats fasten to hook and loop fastener in the bed of the case to hold the mixer in position. The lids are held in position by ‘butterfly’ latches.
