AC MAINS POWER LEADS - Y-format
These innovative products offer a simple, cost effective solution to the powering of multiple IEC320 inlet appliances from a single socket outlet. They feature inline moulded 'Y-junction' splitters, to provide either two or three-way splits.
UK type A leads have a 1.5 metre cable from UK 3-pin plug to the Y-splitter, then two 0.5 metre lengths of cable each terminated with female IEC320 connectors.
UK type B leads have a 1 metre cable from UK 3-pin plug to the first Y-splitter, with one female IEC320 connector on 0.5 metres cable, then a further 1 metre of cable to the second Y-junction, which splits to two 0.5 metre lengths of cable each terminated with female IEC320 connectors, to give a total of three female IEC320 connectors.
IEC type A leads have a 2.0 metre cable from male IEC320 plug to the Y-splitter, then two 0.5 metre lengths of cable each terminated with female IEC320 connectors.
IEC type C leads have a male IEC320 plug with integrated Y-splitter, then two 0.3 metre lengths of cable each terminated with female IEC320 connectors.
Type A and B leads are black, type C are orange PVC jacket 1.0 sq.mm cable. UK types are fitted with moulded 13A plug to BS1363/A, ASTA tested and approved and fitted with 13A fuse. IEC types have female IEC320 (EN60320) as outlet plug. UK type cordsets are supplied fitted with a 13A fuse.
