RPP POWER DISTRIBUTION UNITS With UK 3-pin connectors
A range of UK-manufactured power distribution units for mounting in the rear of equipment racks, on workstations and consoles, or similar applications. All units have extruded aluminium housings, and are finished in black. They are available in three connector angle formats.
All types have 3-hole mounting flanges at each end, and attached 3 metre input cable with moulded BS1363 plug. Case width 65mm for XH series, 55mm for XA series and depth for all types is 46mm.
XH Series – Horizontal Mounting
These have modular BS1363 3-pin 13A socket units mounted at 50mm pitch, to give the highest possible density. The input cable is at the left-hand end of the unit.

XA Series – Vertical and Horizontal Mounting
These have modular BS1363 3-pin 13A socket units inclined at an angle of 45 degrees from the centre line of the case, allowing easy connection of leads with moulded plugs and also larger plug-in DC power supplies. They are available in two versions – XAL has the cables angled to the left (when mounted vertically), XAR to the right. The input cable is at the bottom of the unit when mounted vertically.
They can of course be mounted horizontally. In this case, use type XAL if cable entry at the right-hand end is required, XAR if required at the left.
