JACKFIELD LISTEN ADAPTERS

Available in B-gauge and Bantam versions, this permits standard ‘stereo’ wired headphones to be used to monitor sources on jackfields that are wired to the usual tip=A leg, ring=B leg, sleeve=screen balanced line convention (ie without grounding the A-B pair centre point). A 300mm length of heavy duty twin screened HST-R or HST-R-M cable respectively, with Neutrik NP3TB B-gauge or Bantam plug at one end, wired ‘balanced’, and Neutrik in-line 1/4” jack socket the other, wired ‘stereo’. The headphone socket is clearly engraved ‘JACKFIELD LISTEN ONLY’ to avoid erroneous usage.

Wiring:

Jack plug tip connected to socket tip and ring Jack plug ring connected to socket sleeve Jack plug sleeve not connected. Cables to other wiring conventions can be made to special order.
