HARDIGG STORM CASES
Injection moulded equipment cases, in sixteen sizes, for the safe transportation of sensitive equipment. Made in America and moulded using a proprietary polypropylene polymer, the Storm range are air-tight, waterproof, impact-resistant, shatter-resistant, even in extreme temperatures, and guaranteed for life. They are used by broadcasters, emergency services and the military.
All cases have a comfortable soft-grip carrying handle, with a rigid core for strength. The shell has a ‘tongue and groove’ locking lid with an 0-ring seal , which may be replaced if damaged. The ‘press and pull’ latches are easy on the user’s knuckles, and won’t pop open when dropped. An automatic pressure release valve adjusts to changing environments automatically, does not unscrew from the case, so will not get lost! A folded-in hasp is provided for a padlock. The larger models, iM2720 and above, have two extra carrying handles on the sides. Storm ‘Trak’ models have two wheels and a retractable sliding handle for wheeling the case about airports and venues. Wheels are soft plastic, and have ball-bearings.
Cases are offered with either padded dividers or with a foam interior. Both types have convoluted foam in the lid. Dividers are made of water-resistant PVC coated nylon and are fixed in place using hook and loop fastenings to form a tray with a number of sub-compartments. The foam in the base is multi-layered and cubed, for models iM2050 to iM2975, offering more sophisticated adjustment by the user than single layer types. Models iM3100, iM3200 and iM3300 have a solid foam block. Cases will be supplied in black finish as standard but selected models are available quickly, to special order, in grey, yellow, orange and olive drab.
