CP PRO-BAG CUSTOM SHOP
Over the years Canford has received many enquiries requesting protective bags to customers’ specific designs. Canford specialises in rapid deliveries from products held in stock, and up to now, has been unable to assist with these enquiries. However, a solution can now be offered to the difficulties of finding these bespoke design bags, by putting you in touch directly with one of Canford’s long-standing suppliers who specialise in “economic small batch production” (ESBP).
The system works like this:
First, call Canford’s Technical Support department, who will ascertain your exact requirements, and check this is not covered by a standard case from our catalogue stock range. It is helpful if you have prepared a sketch of what you need, ready to fax to them, or can email an image or drawing. (.DXF/.JPG drawing files accepted.)
Then, we put you in touch with the Custom Shop division of CP Cases Ltd, one of our accredited manufacturing suppliers. They will discuss with you in person exactly what your requirements are. This can be accomplished by phone, fax, email or, if appropriate, in person.
CP will provide you with a quotation, showing both the design and cost to produce a sample, together with the unit item cost for the proposed ESBP. On acceptance, you confirm your requirement with a purchase order to Canford for the sample bag, together with the proposed quantity required for the ESBP. The cost of the sample will include the set up and pattern charges, which will be reimbursed and amortised over the ESBP which must be for a quantity exceeding 5 pieces. When you have approved the sample fully, the ESBP will be manufactured, and despatched directly to you from CP’s factory. The invoice will be issued by Canford, and be paid under the normal terms of trading.
CP’s Pro-Bag “Custom Shop” gives you a design solution tailored to your exact needs, and offers choices of material including Cordura, Nylons, PVCs, Polyesters etc. in a wide variety of colours. Your company/organisation name and logo can be screen printed or embroidered directly onto the bag, or onto a label which is sewn onto the bag. You also benefit from a direct liaison with the manufacturing design team, who have extensive experience of protecting valuable products in transit.
