ACCURIDE RACK SLIDES Surface mounting
The 3832 series consists of three-section slides, with a profile of 45.7mm × 12.7mm and 100%+ extension, allowing the front section to pull completely out of the cabinet, providing access to the entire drawer. It is suited for applications such as drawers and sliding platforms for equipment.
This version is not designed to be rack-mounted using the standard front and rear rack-mount strips and hence must be attached directly to a flat vertical surface. When closed a firm pull is required to open the slide from a closed detent; once open it does not lock in any position until it is pushed firmly closed again. The inner slide section may be removed easily by rotating a small lever on each slide. This series offers an optional platform/bottom mount ‘L’ bracket that produces a horizontal lip (14.7mm wide) on which a drawer or a platform may be fitted. The lip provides holes at intervals down its length to allow equipment to be bolted to it. When ordering please ensure the bracket is matched to the slide with which it is to be used as detailed in the table.
