RACK CABLE CARRIERS
Hinged cable carriers to support cable looms running to equipment on telescopic rack slides.
One end is fixed at the rear of the rack slide fixed section, and the other end at the rear of the equipment. A removable hinge pin disconnects the carrier arm from the equipment if it needs to be taken out of the rack. Cables are attached by means of cable ties. The two arms of the carrier are non-telescopic, so the hinge point moves as the equipment is slid forward.
One size suits all depths of rack, occupying only 25mm rack depth when fully closed (equipment fully into rack). However, care should be taken to ensure there are no connectors at the bottom of the equipment back face, which would foul the arm when retracted.
