POLYBUD IN-EAR EARPHONES
The PolyBud is a high-quality miniature earphone designed to fit fully into the ear and to attenuate surrounding sounds by approximately 25dB, making them very suitable for use as generic in-ear monitors or in areas of high noise.
By fully blocking the ear, these earphones work into a very small acoustic volume (the ear canal is approximately 2cc) which gives them the capability of producing a wide dynamic and accurate response.
They are suitable for use with i-Pod, MP3, laptop or other audio sources in peace and isolation - or even as discreet headphones in broadcast applications. By completely excluding surrounding ambient noise, listening levels can be significantly reduced.
PolyBuds are supplied with a set of multifilament, triple-flange silicon and foam eartips - there is no absolute guide to state which is best - it is personal preference and what the user finds most comfortable. The foam tips cannot really be cleaned but the standard eartips can be washed in warm water. Polybuds are available in black, beige or white.
