Description

PSC UNIVERSAL SHOCK MOUNTS

Designed to provide stable and noise free handling for a wide variety of microphones, with a compact, concise design, these mounts hold the microphone in two silicon suspension bands. Microphones can be changed easily and quickly by simply pulling out one microphone and pressing in another, without fear of damaging the suspension assembly.

Commonly used by ENG crews, industrial video, television and film sound recordists, they are constructed of lightweight aircraft aluminum, with a non-reflective black anodised finish. The two suspension bands are specially made to provide a high degree of isolation from handling noise.

Two sizes are available; small, 51mm diameter x 76mm long, and large, 51mm diameter x 152mm. Both sizes will accept microphones with diameters up to 32mm ensuring that nearly any microphone may be used and have either standard 3/8 inch threads for use with nearly any boom pole or microphone stand, or standard camera-shoe fittings.
