RYCOTE PORTABLE RECORDER SUSPENSIONS
Suitable for most solid-state hand-held portable recorders fitted with a female 1/4 inch tripod thread, this suspension offers 'excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks and handling noise'. Supplied with a 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch swivel adaptor, the suspension can be mounted on a 3/8 inch male thread, microphone stand or boom pole, or be attached to a camera hot shoe. The 180 degree swivel allows for easy orientation of the recorder so it can point in the exact direction of the sound source.
The suspension uses the patented Rycote 'Lyre' construction to give isolation with robustness. Unlike rubber or elastic suspensions the Lyre is unaffected by temperature extremes, and so can be used in the harshest of environments.
