RDL TRANSIENT SUPPRESSION MODULE

The TS-1D is a surface-mount solid state transient suppression module which shunts high energy, high frequency signals to system ground whilst allowing full bandwidth audio signals to pass unaffected. Although not a substitute for good initial design, this unit can protect associated equipment from the effects of ESD, transients and RF interference, improving the likelihood of the equipment complying with EMC legislation.

A good connection to system ground is required, and the TS-1D has 6.3mm ground with 3.6mm holes provided on the bottom of the module to facilitate mounting.
