RDL RACK-UP MOUNTING ACCESSORIES
A range of brackets to fix the Radio Design Labs Rack-Up modules in standard equipment racks, to table tops, below shelves, and cases to convert the modules into free-standing equipment.
RU-RA3 Rack Mounting Frame-Three Module
Minimal 1U frame to rack-mount up to three Rack-Up modules in standard equipment rack. Max Rack-Up format modules, which are deeper, depending on function, will also fit. Simple U-shaped construction, no tray. Use RU-FP-1 to fill each unused aperture.
RU-RA3A Rack Mounting Tray-Three Module
A rack-mounting frame, for up to three Rack-Up modules, with a lower tray to take other modules and wiring. The tray has a rear lip. Depth: 140mm. Use RU-FP-1 to fill each unused aperture.
RU-RA3HD Rack Mounting Tray-Three Module
A rack-mounting frame, for up to three Rack-Up or Max Rack-Up modules, which are deeper, depending on function, in fixed and mobile installations. It has a lower tray for extra support. Depth: 150mm. Use RU-FP-1 to fill each unused aperture.
RC-1U Universal Rack Chassis
A rack-mounting 1U tray with three rack-up apertures in both front and rear panels. It can hold up to six rack-up modules and or up to 12 stick-on modules or a combination of both. Not recommended for Max Rack-up modules. Depth: 190mm. Use RU-FP-1 to fill each unused aperture.
RU-FP1 Filler Panel and Reverse Mount
Fills unused openings in chassis, or mounts modules spaced by 15mm from itself for reverse mounting or to hide modules from users.
RU-BR1 Mounting Bracket
A steel frame to mount a single Rack-Up module parallel to a surface, typically above or below a horizontal surface such as shelf or console. It has four slots to take fixing screws.
WDG-1 Wedge Mount
A wedge-shaped enclosure to mount a single rack-up module to a surface at convenient angle. There is room for two stick-on modules inside in addition to the rack-up module. The upper cover can be removed with the base remaining fixed. In the base are mounting holes and an aperture for cable access. On the front panel is a 24 volt LED indicator.
UC-1 Case
Utility chassis with two apertures, one in the front-panel, one in the rear, each taking a rack-up module. One filler plate supplied. The top cover can be removed for internal access. Dimensions: 194 x 57 x 260 (w x h x d) mm.
UC-2 Case
Similar to the UC-1, but takes two modules on front and rear panels. Two filler plates included. Dimensions: 388 x 57 x 260 (w x h x d) mm.
MB-1 Mounting Kit
A pair of brackets to mount a module with it’s front or rear spaced from a surface. Has apertures for fixing screws.
MB-2 Mounting Kit
A pair of brackets to hold a module in place when placed on a flat surface. Has apertures for fixing screws.
DRA-35R DIN Rail Adapter
A metal bezel-style frame which attaches to a Rack-up or Max Rack-up module using two screws. It fixes to a 35mm 'top hat' DIN rail with a detachable metal clip. Fixing holes in the frame allow for mounting directly to a surface as an alternative to the DIN rail.
RU-PSB1 Mounting Kit for Power Supply
A subassembly to mount a PS-24U power supplies in Rack-Up hardware. The kit will accept one PSU and two RDL Stick-On modules such as ST-PD5U power distribution modules, and has a cover. This in turn will mount in apertures in RU-RA3 or RU-RA3HD hardware, providing a convenient means of powering a rack-mounted set of RDL modules. The IEC AC inlet on the power supply remains accessible from the rear when the RU-PSB1 is mounted.
