Description
LOGICKEYBOARD COMPUTER EDITING KEYBOARDS
The majority of high-end computer editing programs have complex systems of keyboard commands. These customised keyboards, available for Apple and PC platforms, are designed to be used when working with specific programs, having colour-coded keys marked with the both the normal symbols as well as the special functions for the program concerned, for faster and more efficient working. They can be used for learning the commands, after which the user can return to the standard keyboard, or to replace permanently the original keyboard. Overlay silicone skins, with the same colour-coded keys marked upon them, are also available as a cheaper alternative to a full replacement keyboard. Replacement key caps for some applications are also offered for use with existing Apple keyboards.
Apple Style Keyboards: G5 (wired/wireless), M89 and M90 wireless
Manufactured from Apple keyboards, with custom moulded (or in the case of the newer M89 Advanced series of Logickeyboard, printed) key-caps. Most types are available in Apple Pro G5 or M89 ultra-thin aluminium styles, with the G5 bluetooth and ultra-thin M90 versions also available to connect via bluetooth to an apple machine already fitted with suitable capability. All keyboards are UK versions. Other language versions are available to special order, subject to a minimum quantity.
LogicSkins: for Apple Ultra-Thin Alu (M89 and M90), MacBook and MacBook Pro keyboards.
These are designed to be used with Apple’s Ultra Thin aluminium M89 and M90, MacBook and MacBook Pro keyboards. LogicSkin is made from high quality, best fit silicone and at 0.5mm thin, it is flexible, tough, soft, washable and also helps muffle typing noises. It makes controlling packages simpler and faster. It is ideal for post-production facilities, professional video editing houses and anyone else who requires all the custom key commands to be readily accessible from a dedicated, clearly labeled, colour-coded keyboard. Temporarily using this LogicSkin is also a way to learn the key commands, before removing the skin for someone else to use.
Apple Keyboards: Replacement Key Sets
A kit of replacement caps to fit an existing Apple G5 keyboard, supplied with a diagram to aid installation. A special ‘key-cap puller’ is included to aid removal of the keys.
PC Keyboards: Classic, Multimedia and Mini
Classic keyboards are black/silver 'two tone' in design, with PS/2 and USB interfaces. These also feature some extra multi-media function keys, and are supplied with a detachable palm-rest and driver disk for Windows 98/2000/Me/XP. Multimedia keyboards are black with silver trim, and have a variety of extra silver function keys for control of multi-media functions. Supplied with a driver disk for Win 98/2000/Me/XP. Mini keyboards are black in colour and offer a plug and play set-up with any PC system. Their small, 290 x 140mm size makes them suitable for editing use on a laptop or other portable system. All PC keyboards are UK versions, with US, German, and French versions available to special order, subject to a minimum quantity.
