MULTIMEDIA COMPUTER CONTROLLERS
Add-on USB controllers, designed to increase the productivity of computer-based audio and video editors, which can be also used with many other applications, combining jog-wheel, shuttle ring and a variety of programmable keys. All models can be used in addition to standard input peripherals, either on their own or in combination.
Contour Shuttle Xpress
A versatile tool, particularly useful for laptop DV editing. The ShuttleXpress can be used by itself, or with a Shuttle Pro for multiple device control. Ergonomically designed, it offers one-hand access to five programmable buttons and a jog/shuttle knob. The inner ring or ‘jog’ rotates through 360 degrees and provides precision frame-by-frame control. The outer ring or ‘shuttle’ is rubberised and spring-loaded. It facilitates fast forward and rewind. The jog and shuttle may also be used for many other purposes such as scrolling, volume control, and sequencing. Available in black or white.
Configuration
The Shuttle controllers are supplied with a CD containing a comprehensive English language device configuration application. A specific configuration of the Shuttle device can be maintained for every application on the PC, The software automatically selects the appropriate configuration according to the current active application. The installation package provides pre-installed settings (factory settings) for many leading audio video and graphics applications; these may be modified at any time and new settings may be created for other applications. The default global settings provide support for applications where no specific configuration has been provided. A list of pre-configured applications is available at http://www.contourdesign.com. See System Requirements below. The software is supplied with a Adobe .pdf manual in English.
Contour Shuttle Pro
A flexible tool which can be used with many applications in addition to the video and audio editing software for which it was designed. It can be used by itself, or with a Shuttle Xpress for multiple device control. It offers access to 15 programmable buttons and jog/shuttle knob with a single hand. Nine of the buttons have transparent key caps which may be removed for labeling using paper labels. The inner ring or ‘jog’ rotates through 360 degrees and provides precision frame-by-frame control. The outer black ring or ‘shuttle’ is rubberised and spring-loaded. It facilitates fast-forward and rewind. The jog and shuttle may be used for many other purposes such as scrolling, volume control, and sequencing.
The Shuttle Pro is supplied with the same configuration software as the Shuttle Xpress. Please see ‘Configuration’ above.

APC-Contech System200 Jog/Shuttle/Keyboard controller

The jog and shuttle may be used for many other purposes such as scrolling, volume control, and sequencing. A rubber wristpad is located below the wheel for comfort during use. A 2-port USB hub is incorporated in the unit to allow connection to multiple controllers (an external power supply may be required in this case).

The S200 controller is supplied with a CD containing a comprehensive English language device configuration for programmable options.
Optional features:
Available to special order are an additional 10 programmable membrane keys, and a 2 x 20 LCD display with 4 programmable soft-keys with bi-colour LED indicators.
