Description

OXMOOR MIXING MATRICES

The Oxmoor RMX-44 Mixing Matrix System offers a unique, high-quality solution for many audio routing and combining applications. For enhancing flexibility, all input/output assignments can be controlled remotely via switch closures. Signal routings within a complex sound system can be altered or modified from a central location.

The RMX-44 is a four-input/four-output combination signal buffer, mixer and distribution amplifier. All inputs can be individually adjusted in level, and combined together to feed any or all outputs.

Potential applications include providing simultaneous stereo and mono feeds from different input assignments. High and low input/output levels can also be freely intermixed, allowing semi-pro and professional equipment to be used in a sound system without additional interface units.

Front panel controls are simple-to-use input gain trim pots, with ±15dB adjustment. Rear panel, electronically balanced inputs and transformer balanced outputs use XLR connectors. While the nominal input signal level range is –10 to +8dBu, the unit is capable of handling +24dBu signal levels. Each output can be unbalanced independently.

A rear panel 25-pin control port provides individual access to each of the input/output matrix assignment crosspoints. All that is required to route any input to a chosen output is a switch closure.
