ANCHOR AUDIO PORTABLE PA SYSTEMS

Portable integrated PA systems of innovative design, plus powered loudspeakers with a range of applications. All are designed for use by non-technical staff, and are constructed in virtually indestructible moulded cases. They feature built-in amplifiers, so are genuinely 'totally integrated' PA systems. They are simplicity itself to operate, with no messing around. Several feature dual AC and rechargeable battery operation for full operational flexibility. All products have a six-year, manufacturer's warranty as standard (unless otherwise specified).

Megavox Pro, Liberty Platinum and Explorer Pro are also available with built-in receivers and separate radiomics, to special order. Contact Technical Support for further details.

MEGA-7500 Megavox Pro

High power portable sound projector, with re-entrant horn design and 126dB SPL (at 1m) output for extensive coverage. Although complete with built-in rechargeable batteries (up to 10 hours operation on a single charge) the universal-mode charger also allows use of the Megavox Pro both during and after charging is complete. Signal alert siren for emergency response use. A robust, all-plastic casing incorporates a handy carrying handle and an internal top hat, for stand mounting. Colour black. Available controls allow adjustment of both optional wireless microphones 1 and 2 (see Alternative models), wired microphone input and a line-level input (for connection of DVD/CD/MP3/Instruments etc). A power switch and accompanying LED, shows the power on/off and low-battery status.

LIB-7500 Liberty Platinum

An integrated sound reinforcement system, based on a loudspeaker unit with a built-in amplifier, now in its fourth generation. The cabinet incorporates a handy carrying handle and is made from durable cross-linked polyethylene inner and outer shells sandwiching a thick cellular foam layer, giving exceptional strength and low weight; even with batteries fitted it only weighs 17.0 kg. Amplifier rated 125 watts RMS (AC mode), 100 watts RMS (battery), drives a 2-way speaker system with 250mm neodymium magnet LF driver and ceramic compression HF driver, with an output of up to 110dB SPL (at 1m). Operates 6-8 hours from internal rechargeable batteries that are now user-replaceable. Automatic overcharge prevention circuit, and automatic shutdown circuit to prevent excessive battery discharge is accompanied by a 4 x LED charging indicator. Internal top hats are fitted to these units, for stand mounting. Colour black. A protective, recessed rear panel features two XLR/jack combination mic inputs and various line level inputs (for connection of DVD/CD/MP3/Instruments etc) with dedicated level controls for these (including controls for optional wireless receivers - see Alternative models). Treble and bass controls are also fitted, buffered line outputs, plus loudspeaker output. A 'voice over' music ducking feature is also included. A power switch and accompanying LED, shows the power on/off status.

EXP-7500 Explorer Pro

Similar to the Liberty Platinum (see above) but with limited facilities, this features 2-way speaker system (165mm LF unit plus horn tweeter) with switchable crossover point for music and speech projection optimisation, delivery of up to 110db SPL (at 1m) of intelligible speech, the same tone controls, mic and line inputs (including controls for optional wireless receivers - see Alternative models) but with only the single post-fader buffered, 6.35mm balanced jack line-level output. The 'voice over' music ducking feature is also included and a more simplified battery charging status system (charger and battery states are displayed on dedicated LEDs). AC or rechargeable battery powered (charges from flat in 60 minutes). Rated 75W RMS (AC or battery modes). Internal top hats are fitted to these units, for stand mounting. Colour black.

AN-1000X

Powered monitor speaker with rugged 50 watt mosfet amplifier and matched two-way speaker system capable of reaching levels of 103dB (at 1m). Magnetically shielded for use near video monitors. It can be used in racks, or as standalone speakers. Volume, HF and LF response controls on the front panel. Balanced mic on XLR connector (switchable 15V phantom), can be switched to balanced line on XLR. A separate unbalanced line is offered on 2 pole 6.35mm jack and RCA (phono). Also has a post fader, buffered, unbalanced, RCA (phono) line output to feed other powered units, plus speaker output to drive an AN1001X passive, extension speaker (minimum load 8 ohms). An SB-1, U-shaped, yoke-style stand mounting bracket is available, to allow the unit to be mounted on a wall, ceiling or on a speaker stand. Colour black.

AN-130

Powered monitor speaker of the same size as the AN-1000X, but has a power output of 30 watts (101db at 1m). Magnetically shielded for use near video monitors. It can be used in racks, or as standalone speakers. Volume, HF and LF response controls on the front panel. On the rear panel, controls for the optional wireless receiver (see Alternative models), inputs are unbalanced mic and instrument on 6.35mm 2-pole jack sockets and unbalanced line inputs on two RCA (phono) sockets and a separate unbalanced line input on 6.35mm 2-pole jack. Also has a post fader, buffered, unbalanced 6.35mm 2-pole jack line output to feed further powered units. An SB-1, U-shaped, yoke-style stand mounting bracket is available, to allow the unit to be mounted on a wall, ceiling or on a speaker stand. A version of the AN-130 is available featuring a remote control, offering volume adjustment and a mute facility. Colour black (AN-130BK) or white (AN-130).
