PALADIN UNIVERSAL CABLE TESTER

The Paladin 1577 PC Cable-Check Pro is a universal tester that maps multipair and multicore cable wiring and detects good connections, opens, shorts or crosses. It works with over 20 types of cables including LAN, telephone, serial data, coaxial, USB, mini-USB, Firewire, VGA, S-video, PS/2 keyboard and parallel printer.

It scans cables in either automatic or manual modes, and displays results on an easy to understand LED array. Powering is by a single PP3 size 9 volt battery (included), and automatic shut-off after 30 seconds conserves battery life.

It tests cables with the following connectors: Modular plugs RJ45, RJ11, RJ12; D-sub 9, 15 and 25 pin; HD-sub 15 pin; USB types A, B and mini 5-pin; IEE1394 FireWire 4 and 6 pin; Centronics 36-pin printer; BNC.

Included accessories: Battery.
