CUSTOM CONSOLES MOTORISED WORKSTATIONS - SystemTwo Lite
With a strong family resemblance to Custom Consoles' SystemTwo workstation range, the SystemTwo Lite is a single-surface workstation with electrically operated height adjustment. The design is focussed on applications where single or multiple flat-screen monitors are deployed. A matching floor-standing pedestal for installing rack-mounting equipment is also available.
Worktop finish as standard is blue marbled Marmoleum Real 3030, a scratch-resistant, easy-to-clean material similar to linoleum, with PVC edging trim. Alternative colours are available to special order in short lead times, please contact Sales for assistance. The pedestal carcase is CNC-machined MDF finished in oak melamine. The steel legs and frame are powder-coated with a Silver semi-gloss finish to RAL 9006. SystemTwo Lite has been designed to allow the user to make adjustments to suit their individual needs, and in addition vary their posture throughout the working day. It meets the relevant requirements of the following standards: BS EN ISO 9241-5 Ergonomic requirements; BS EN527-1 Dimensional requirements; BS 6396 Cable management; BS 4875-5, 6 and 7 Structural integrity.
Assembly
The individual components of a SystemTwo Lite order are delivered assembled. The customer can complete the fitting of the pedestal follower-spacer to either side of the desk, on site.
SystemTwo Lite Desk - S2L-01A
This has a working area occupying some 2000mm x 900mm, CNC machined to a semi 'kidney'-shape with a recessed, lower shelf at the rear, offering access to cabling facilities and providing a mounting surface for flat-screen monitor arms. The desk can be adjusted electrically in height from 660mm to 1200mm by means of 'up' and 'down' buttons on the front edge. These operate the soft-start, soft-stop control system which also limits the maximum and minimum height of the desk. At the left-hand side of the worktop, there is a four-way USB 2.0 hub set into the top. The rear shelf is pre-drilled in five positions along the back to take up to three Ergotron LX desk mount LCD arms, order separately, see 'Ergotron Flat Panel Monitor Arms' for full details. The steel 'spine' running under the worktop provides cable management facilities and is fitted with a six-way mains power distribution unit with five available UK 13A individually-fused sockets and a two-metre captive cable to a UK 13A plug. Two 'back-to-back' RJ45 connectors are fitted to facilitate the connection of Ethernet cables.
Two steel legs with inbuilt actuators support the work surface. A steel support passes under the surface, limiting the possibilities for setting equipment into the surface. (Please contact Technical Support for detailed drawings). They are fitted with feet which may be adjusted for irregularities in the floor.

SystemTwo Lite Pedestal - S2L-02B
Floor standing and fitted with castors, this has 13U of rack-strip at both the front and rear, to mount 19-inch equipment such as recorders patch-bays and power supplies. The curved top, finished to match the SystemTwo Lite Desk work-surface, is also curved to match the end of the work-top, so the pedestal may be positioned in a splayed position while still presenting a minimum gap between the two. A follower-spacer insures that a safe distance is maintained, to avoid unfortunate accidents when lowering and raising the desk. This is a shaped sheet of finished MDF which attaches to the leg of the desk and extends to the underside of the pedestal, where it attaches, to maintain a safe distance. A pedestal may be positioned at either or both ends of the desk. Both sides and rear are melamine-faced, and have ventilation slots. A stabiliser pulls out from the front at the bottom, for use when heavy equipment, mounted on slides, is pulled from the rack, avoiding the whole pedestal falling forwards due to the weight.
Maximum load: 180kg. Height: 727mm. Footprint: 846 x 750(w x d)mm overall. Equipment mounting space: 578 x 483(h x w)mm, (13U x 19 inches), 600mm internal depth. Spacing, front rack strip to rear rack strip: 550mm.

SystemTwo Racks and Rack Cabinets
Custom Consoles SystemTwo range offers racks for mounting 19 inch equipment, with 27U capacity which match the timber finish of the SystemTwo Lite Pedestal.
