CANFORD RACK CABINETS
A classic in the Canford range for many years, this series of economy 19-inch rack cabinets, manufactured specifically to Canford’s specifications, has now been updated to a second-generation design.
They are available in seven sizes, and are a welded steel construction for strength and rigidity, supplied complete with lockable steel-framed acrylic door, including quick release hinges. The cabinet is supplied with front and rear mounting profiles and a detachable rear panel (packaged separately). There are cable entry glands in the top and base, and side ventilation slots to improve airflow. Cabinets are finished in light grey (RAL7035) stove enamel.
A lockable plain steel door is available as an option (but note that cabinets are always supplied complete with the steel-framed acrylic door).
The flexibility of this new design is the ability to use this cabinet either as a wall-mounting or as a floor-standing unit. An optional 100mm plinth is available, to provide a vacuum-cleaner resistant ‘kick-strip’.
Accessories
The racks will accept most standard 19-inch accessories and fittings. Some accessories from the Enclosure Systems range of rack cabinets are also suitable for use in the Canford rack cabinets, these are also finished light grey (RAL7035).
Plinths
These space the rack off the floor by 100mm, allowing easy cable access into the base of the cabinet.
Front Mount Fan Trays
Universal fitting to any 19-inch cabinet, front mount fan trays supplied with two, three or four fans, including UK 13A plug and lead.
Modem Shelves
Mount on front mounting-angles of a rack. Available 2U height, 250mm or 400mm depth, and 4U height, 400mm depth.
Adjustable Fixed Shelves
Universal 19-inch fitting to front and rear mounting profiles, supplied in two parts, with side securing bolts via elongated holes.
Sliding Shelves
Mount on front and rear mounting-angles.
Cage Nuts
Suitable cage nuts are available, stock code 16-025.
