Description
OMNIMOUNT WALL SHELF SYSTEM - AV - Tria
The Tria series of wall-mounting shelving offer a solution to organise audio visual components such as DVD recorders and set-top boxes either directly under a flat-panel monitor screen or TV, or they may be used without a screen. The central spine can be mounted on a single stud of a stud wall or on walls of brick or solid concrete. This forms a support for the glass shelves which may be adjusted in one-inch increments, and a cable management system to hide the cables under removable covers, which can be trimmed and painted if required.
Tria
This is a three-shelf design; the cable covers span 1270mm height, in many cases sufficient to hide the cables all the way from the screen to skirting level, perhaps joining trunking at that point, avoiding the need to install cables through or in the wall. Shelves have a curved front edge and are 445mm wide, 6mm thick, with 381mm clear depth from the centre of the front edge. Total installed depth from the wall is 419mm. The maximum load is a total of 40kg, with a 13kg maximum per shelf.
Two wall-plates are attached to the wall. A third extension plate continues the cable management at the bottom. Steel shelf support-brackets attach with screws to the wall-plates; the shelves attach to the brackets with thumb-screws. Cables feed through a curved cut-out in the rear of the shelves, and are held to the wall-plates and the extension plate using the clips to which the three cable-covers are clipped.
Included accessories: All fixing hardware required to install the system is included, including masonry anchors.
Optional accessories: The Tria system is compatible with Tria 1 and Tria 2, where additional shelves are required.
Required tools: Drill, 4mm or 8mm drill bit for stud wall or masonry wall respectively, level, Phillips screwdriver, marking instrument, hammer, and some means of locating the position of studs when installing to a stud wall.
Tria 1
This has a single shelf; the cable cover is 419mm high. The Tria 1is best used as an accessory with a Tria or Tria 2 system, or where there is cable access through the wall behind a flat panel or where the shelf is required at a low level. There is a single wall-plate and cable-cover and a single shelf support-bracket and shelf; there is no extension plate.
The maximum load is 13kg. Other dimensions and specifications and accessories are the same as for the Tria, above.
Tria 2
This has two shelves; the cable cover is 826mm high. The Tria 2 can be used stand alone or as an accessory to add extra shelves to a Tria or Tria 1 installation. There are two wall-plates and cable-covers and two shelf support-brackets and shelves; there is no extension plate.
The maximum load is a total of 27kg, with a 13kg maximum per shelf. Other dimensions and specifications and accessories are the same as for the Tria, above.
