ALPS CARBON TRACK FADERS
Linear faders using printed carbon tracks, thus giving a ‘light’ operating feel similar to conductive plastic faders. These faders are used by many mixer manufacturers, and generally can be used as replacement spares. The ‘K’ type are compatible with the previous ‘A’ type and may be used as replacements. Optional 5mm spacer and screw kits (stock code 58-279) are available for use with ‘R’ and ‘RH’ type fader knobs, to distance the fader below the panel and so reduce the length of arm protruding through – to achieve a lower knob position. Available in mono or stereo, with solder tag termination plus a single pole changeover microswitch fitted as standard, although this can be easily removed if not required.

Note that some manufacturers use stereo faders for mono channels, utilising second track for auxiliary function. If ordering faders as spares, check carefully which version is required.
