A lower cost alternative to the standard range of Sifam full specification VU meters. The specification for the AL range is based on BS6840 : Part 17, IEC 268-17 : 1990, but does not fully meet the dynamic range characteristics.
The AL-WF meters are suitable for rear of panel mounting, together with bezel, with a rear zero adjust and tab terminals as standard, except for AL20SQ which is front-mounted. Top illumination kits are available as optional accessories. Front-of-panel mounting versions are available to special order.
AL20SQ, which is a front-mounted, ‘vintage’ look meter, with rounded corner bezel, comes complete with 150mm flying leads and illumination.
The AL-RETRO meters are suitable for front of panel mounting, and feature the distinctive ‘vintage retro’ stylings of the AL20SQ.
