TASCAM AUDIO MIXER - LM-8ST
The TASCAM LM-8ST is a 1U, rack-mountable line mixer designed for installation in boardrooms, conference rooms, health clubs, or restaurants. However the nature of the product lends its self to use as a sub mixer or keyboard mixer. The eight pairs of 6.3mm balanced jack inputs on the rear panel can be switched from +4 or -10dB to give optimum input level matching. There are two rotary controls for each input channel on the front panel - one for ST1 and one for ST2/AUX outputs, with the user able to send any input signals directly to the ST2/AUX buss by toggling the switches on the underside of the mixer. ST1, balanced XLR, outputs; and ST2/AUX, balanced XLR, outputs both have linked unbalanced RCA outputs for preferred connectivity. A stereo balanced input/output buss can be used to cascade mixers to obtain additional input/output channels.
The front-facing side of the unit houses a XLR microphone input along with Mic/Line level switch and Mic trim pot. A headphone output with 3.5mm and 6.3mm socket options can be controlled via rotary control and a switch enables routing from either ST1 or ST2/AUX output channels. Rotary controls for both ST1 and ST2/AUX output channels are positioned on the front panel, with four-stage left/right LED trees to monitor output level. Power switch is also on the front panel.
