SOUNDCRAFT M SERIES MIXERS
A range of slimline stereo mixers with a single motherboard and built-in switch-mode mains power supply, offering excellent value for money and audio performance. The M series include four stereo inputs, direct channel-output jacks and a built-in digital stereo output.
M4/M8/M12
Stereo mixer with four, eight or twelve mono and four stereo input channels, four aux busses, stereo and mono main output and built-in SPDIF digital output. Each mono channel has XLR balanced input, low-noise mic-amp, 6.35mm balanced line input jack, unbalanced insert jack, and separate direct-out jack which can be switched pre or post fade, gain, HP filter, three-band EQ with sweepable mid, two prefade and two postfade aux sends, pan control, PFL, mute and direct pre/post buttons, 100mm fader and peak LED. Stereo channels have balanced line input jacks, gain control, two-band EQ, two prefade and two postfade aux sends, balance control, solo and mute buttons, 100mm fader and peak LED. There are also four stereo return inputs with RCA (phono) inputs, level control, peak LED and mute switch. The master section has XLR main outputs, SPDIF (44.1kHz sample rate) coaxial output and mono output jack, unbalanced jack insert points, RCA (phono) record output and 2T (two track) return, global 48V phantom power switch with LED indicator, phones socket, separate monitor and headphones level control, separate aux masters with, 2T to mix and 2T monitor switches, stereo bargraph LED meters and 100mm faders. All models are a freestanding design, with all-metal audio connectors mounted on the operating surface. The side cheeks can be removed to reveal drop-through mounting ears, which also allow rack mounting the M8 and M12 mixer. M4 can be rack mounted using an optional extender plate.
