Bookings should be made directly through the Hire Department on 0191 418 1166 and NOT through the Sales Office.
The Hire Department is open 09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday. Our standard conditions of hire apply to all hires. They are also printed on the delivery advice, and clients should ensure they are fully familiar with those conditions.
Charges are calculated from the "start date on site" until the "finish date on site", both dates inclusive. Canford will make an allowance for transit time in arranging shipment and return receipt dates, and this transit time will not within reason be charged.
The client is fully responsible for the equipment whilst on hire including during transit (even though transit time is not chargeable), so clients may wish to make their own shipping arrangements. Hire rates include basic standard length interconnecting cables where appropriate, additional lengths are chargeable. Check with our staff for details of facilities of individual items to ensure they will fulfil your requirements.
