From the South.
From the A1M, take the A195 Washington/Birtley exit (junction 64). Leave the A195 at the first sliproad signposted Emerson Interchange. At the top of the sliproad you will arrive at a roundabout, take the first left, signposted Emerson. Continue for 1 mile. The Canford Headquarters is on your left after the John Dickinson offices.

From Sunderland and Teeside.
From the A19 take the A1231 to Washington. After the sign for Town Centre you will reach a roundabout. Take exit for Gateshead/Newcastle A1231. Take the sliproad on your left for District 3. At the mini-roundabout take the second exit for Crowther. At the T-junction turn left. The Canford Headquarters is on your right just after the Volvo compound.

From the Tyne Tunnel.
From the A19, heading South, take the A194 for Gateshead/Washington. Continue until you see a sign for A182 Washington. Take this sliproad and at roundabout take first left, heading for Washington. Ensure you take the middle lane on the highway. Take the second exit on your left (District 3). At the roundabout take the third exit (A1231, Gateshead/Newcastle). Take the sliproad to District 3. At the mini-roundabout take the second exit for Crowther, District 3 and continue until you reach a T-junction, turn left. The Canford Headquarters is on your right just after the Volvo compound.

From Newcastle and the North (via A1M Western Bypass, Low Fell or Team Valley Trading Estate).
Get onto the A1M heading South. After passing the Angel of the North on your left, leave the A1M at the sliproad signed A1231 - Sunderland/Washington. At the next roundabout take the third exit heading for the A1231 Washington/Sunderland. Leave the A1231 at sliproad signposted Blackfell, Lambton, Crowther Ind. Estate. At the bottom of the sliproad you will arrive at a mini-roundabout, take the third exit for Lambton, Oxclose, Ayton, Crowther Ind Estate. At the next mini-roundabout turn right following signs for Crowther. Follow road until you reach a T-junction, turn left. The Canford Headquarters is on your right after the Volvo compound.
