ARTNOVION ACOUSTIC TREATMENT - Fabric Absorbers - AGAD/ATHOS/MYRIAD/THOR
Designed and hand made in Portugal, Artnovion acoustic treatment is available in many forms including wooden and fabric designed absorbers, bass traps, and diffusers. Designed specifically for pro-audio in broadcast, recording, and post-production studios, these fabric acoustic panels are available in furniture grade only.
Furniture Grade (FG) models comply with standard fire resistance requirements set for the furniture industry, also known as the match/cigarette test which tests the surface flame spread index.
Artnovion offer a free project design service (https://artnovion.com/project-support-request) whereby you can upload room dimensions along with photographs and desired panel finishes and in return a 3D visualisation and/or acoustic calculation can be provided.
Note: If using the design service, please ensure you note Canford as your supplier within the comments section. This will ensure we can better provide support to the project in question.
This 100% foam panel has been designed to reduce reflection issues along with absorption properties of frequencies between 400Hz and 5000Hz. Agad’s finish is foam and isn’t covered in any fabric or material. Installation is recommended on side walls or ceilings and by way of GlueArt glue.
Acoustic class: C. Absorption coef. (aw): 0.65(M). Dimensions (HxWxD): 595x595x60mm, FG models; 595x595x60mm, FR+ models.
Agad Corner bass trap is available to compliment the Agad wall panel design.
Athos F is a self-adhesive fabric panel available in a variety of colours. It offers absorption from 250Hz to 8000Hz. Installation takes only minutes using the peel-off cover on the rear of the acoustic panel.
Acoustic class: B. Absorption coef. (aw): 0.8(M). Dimensions (HxWxD): 595x595x41mm.
Athos W wooden absorbers are available where a fire grade (FR+) model is required. Athos W Corner and Athos W Wall wooden bass traps are available to compliment the Athos design.
Myriad F 30 and Myriad F 50 foam panels differ to other available panels as they are smaller and can therefore produce more bespoke acoustic treatment designs. Myriad F 30 and F 50 differ only by panel depth with the F 30 being 30mm deep and the F 50 being 50mm deep. All other specifications are the same. The absorption range of the Myriad F is 215Hz to 8000Hz. Installation is by way if self-adhesive rear panel face.
Acoustic class: B. Absorption coef. (aw): 0.8(M). Dimensions (HxWxD): 257x257x30mm, F 30 models; 257x257x50mm, F 50 models.
Thor is a fabric manufactured acoustic panel available in a variety of colours. It offers absorption from 315Hz to 8000Hz and has been designed with home studios and mixing rooms in mind. The panels can be attached to walls using GlueArt glue.
Acoustic class: C. Absorption coef. (aw): 0.7(M). Dimensions (HxWxD): 595x595x45mm.
Artnovion Andes panels can be fixed to the wall using GlueArt glue or the FixArt Tube M6 fixing system. The 1170mm FixArt Tube is a plastic tube that can be used to attach the acoustic panel to a wall or ceiling. Where a length of 575mm is required, the 1170mm plastic tube can be cut. If mounting to the ceiling the user must also use the FixArt Tube Lock security device, which locks the panel in place and avoid failure due to ‘effects of temperature’. Thor and Agad panels can be fixed using GlueArt glue. Athos F, Myriad F 30 and Myriad F 50 have peel-off adhesive backing and don’t require FixArt Tube nor GlueArt.
