A range of flat and angled audio termination panels supplied fully populated with either Canford or Neutrik ‘D’ series XLR connectors. Nine combinations of 3-pin XLR male and latching female connectors are available as standard. All have nickel-plated shells and silver-plated contacts and are mounted from the rear of the panel.

Flat Panels

Manufactured from a rigid aluminium extrusion, available in 1U, 2U and 3U combinations, these panels are both lightweight and extremely rigid. Panels are fitted with a cranked lacing-bar for each row of connectors giving easy access to the rear of the connectors.

Angled Panels

Manufactured from a unique profile aluminium-extrusion with integral rear bracing-bar. The front face of the panel is angled down by 7.5 degrees from vertical, relieving stress on mated cables and maintaining clear access at the rear. These 2U panels offer the highest possible packing density and are both lightweight and extremely rigid. Panels are fitted with a short, cranked, lacing-bar, extending only 65mm from the rear of the panel to allow for tight cable routing.

A snap-on cover designation-strip holder is fitted above each connector row to permit the supplied paper strips to be inserted before or after installation; 7.5mm of printable height is available. Templates for printing designation strip labels, available as a DWG file for AutoCAD and compatible applications, can be downloaded from the appropriate product page on the Canford website. Spare 432mm designation-strip paper (not suitable for printers) and covers are available, see CANFORD DESIGNATION STRIPS - Snap-on.

Available finished in Dawn Grey (BS4800-10A03) or Black.
