BEYERDYNAMIC SURFACE MOUNTING MICROPHONES
A variety of condenser types, including boundary-layer types to place on a surface, mount through a surface and gooseneck designs to mount on walls, ceilings and furniture. Uses range from meeting rooms to sound reinforcement of choirs and speakers.
Extremely low-profile boundary-effect condenser microphones, with small footprint (86x61mm), for any application where it is essential that the microphone be unobtrusive. The MPC 65 V polar pattern is semi-cardioid, so sound from the rear is excluded, essential in theatre use and where multiple microphones are required. They have a flat frequency response, 60-20000Hz, higher gain-before-feedback than the average boundary effect design and a low-cut filter. It has a captive cable with no connector, built-in preamplifier and require a phantom power supply of 8-52V.
Included accessories: Zip pouch.
These discreet condenser microphones are intended for integration within conference or boardroom tables and can also be used for telephone and video conferencing systems. Extremely small, for installations where mounting space is limited or a very inconspicuous microphone is needed, they are mounted through a 20mm hole using a fixing nut on the threaded body of the microphone, in tables, ceilings and wall. Elastic bearing rings achieve mechanical isolation from the mounting surface and therefore offer effective sound isolation of the microphone. When used with the bearing rings, a hole of 24mm diameter is required. The BM 32 has a cardioid response and higher gain before feedback, it protrudes further from the mounting surface as a result. The BM 33 has a omni-directional response. The body of the microphones has an integral 3-pin XLR connector. They require phantom power 8-52V. Head diameter is 30mm. Suits a maximum table thickness of 57mm. Available in black or white finish.
Included accessories: Elastic bearing ring and nut for mounting.
Directional gooseneck microphone mounted on a metal plate which fits on a standard single-gang, UK (BS1363) back-box fitted to a wall or ceiling. Ideal for tele-conferencing and distance learning as well as for general purpose situations where a permanently fixed microphone is desirable. The short, flexible gooseneck allows positioning and the polar pattern is cardioid, for high gain before feedback and the electret capsule offers a frequency response from 65-20000Hz. On the rear of the plate is a preamplifier with terminal block connections. Phantom power required, 8-52V.
Included accessories: WS 300 W foam windshield, white.
This is the same microphone head as the OM 302, but hanging on a cable, for use with high ceilings. The short flexible gooseneck allows for pointing the microphone, and is connected by 8 metres of cable, which may be shortened easily, to a square metal plate which mounts on a standard single-gang, UK (BS1363) back-box. On the rear of the plate is a preamplifier with terminal block connections. Phantom supply required, 8-52V.
Included accessories: WS 300 W Foam windshield, white.
Gooseneck electret microphones for speech applications such as meetings, discussions, teleconferencing and any other applications where maximum speech intelligibility, high gain before feedback and unobtrusive design are required. Total visible length is 200mm (GM 302), 300mm (GM 303), 400mm (GM 304) or 500mm (GM 305) including the pre-amplifier (15mm extra length for switched (S) versions) which terminates in an XLR male connector. Cardioid polar pattern for rejection of ambient noise. Wide, linear frequency response optimised for speech. Frequency response 50 - 19,000 Hz. Phantom power required, 11-52V (48V on switched (S) versions). GM 303 S, GM 304 S and GM 305 S have an on-off switch.
Included accessories: WS 302 B foam windshield.
Optional accessories: ZSH 23 FT gooseneck Microphone Bases; ZSH 20 shockmount.
The ST 29376 has a flush 3-pin XLR female socket on the rounded upper surface and a male XLR outlet on the side. The ZSH 23 FT has a 3-pin XLR female XLR connector standing proud of the top face to take the microphone, and a bare ended captive cable 8 metres length. Both can be used with GM 302, GM 303, GM 303 S, GM 304, GM 304 S, GM 305, GM 305 S, SHM 803 A and SHM 803 AS.
A elastic shock-mount for gooseneck microphones with male XLR connectors. A black cylindrical sleeve flush-mounts through a table or surface, using a nut on the threaded body of the sleeve, to give an inner shock-mounted aperture through which the gooseneck is pushed. Connection is them made with female cable XLR.
