CANFORD ETHERCON CAT5E SCREENED CABLES - Using Cat5E-R ruggedised deployable cable

Canford CAT5E-R is a ruggedised, PU jacketed, deployable data cable for Cat5E applications. It features stranded cores for flexibility, a foil and braid screen for maximum EMI and RF shielding, plus a heavy-duty polyurethane jacket which offers maximum resistance to abrasion. The rugged, black finish, metal shell, together with the standard Neutrik chuck type strain relief of the Ethercon design (NE8MX-B-1) protect the delicate RJ45 connector, as well as providing positive latching.

Sealing to IP54 is possible if the mating panel connectors are fitted with the optional SE8FD sealing kit.

Note: This range of cables now comes fitted with 100mm lengths of clear heat-shrink sleeving on the cable as standard, to enable fitting of labels by users. The un-shrunk sleeve can easily be cut off if not required. Cable lengths and the number of sleeves is outlined below:-
