A lightweight and portable, full-range, active loudspeaker system intended for PA applications. The system provides high output, wide dispersion and low distortion.
Manufactured from reinforced polypropylene, SRMv3 loudspeakers are suitable for musical performance, rehearsal, conference and house of worship PA applications. Two convection cooled Class-D, fast recovery amplifiers independently power the lightweight woofer and titanium compression driver. Mackie's active electronics provide phase correction, crossover, equalisation and protection circuitry.
A latching 'Timed Turnoff' button enables automatic power switching. An input signal level of -45 dBu (minimum) activates auto-on. No input signal for 3mins+ will activate the auto-off function to conserve energy. Contour and Low Cut switches allow for personalisation of the audio output. Mic/line input is via 3-pin female XLR and a pass-thru (3-pin male XLR) output enables daisy-chain connection to additional active loudspeakers. An optional pole mount (SPM200) is available and should be used when combining SRMv3 full range loudspeakers with the SRM1801 sub-bass.
Similarly to SRMv3 loudspeakers, the SRM1801 sub-bass uses lightweight and efficient Class-D amplification to drive its 18-inch LF driver and 3-inch voice coil. Facilitating for mono or stereo applications, signal input is via dual 3-pin female XLR. Stereo high pass and full range outputs are via 3-pin male XLR. Mackie's active electronics allow for accurate level control, polarity switching and precision crossover at 125 Hz. Individual LED's indicate power, signal, overload and thermal protection status. The durable plywood enclosure incorporates recessed handles and a pole cup receptacle. This accommodates standard mounting poles, such as the Mackie SPM200, for pairing with full-range loudspeakers.
Ordering note:
The loudspeakers are sold singly.
