The extremely light weight, short shotgun microphone has been specifically tailored to the tonal sound of the renowned VT500 Lavelier series. Ideal for use in Video camera-mounting for broadcast, ENG, EFP, sports, documentaries, video, film, or even for studio recordings.
At only 78g in weight and 205mm in length the VT5000 is among the lightest and shortest shotgun microphones on the market and comes as standard with a high-quality foam windscreen by Rycote.
The VT5000’s tight directional pattern greatly minimises ambient noise from the rear and sides, allowing clear and smooth voice pickup. The microphones has been designed for a wide range of recording applications including video camera-mounting for broadcast, ENG, EFP, sports documentaries, video, film, or even for studio recordings.
