BBC SIGNAL LIGHTS
Traditional studio signal light boxes to BBC design, to take one or three lamps.
The mounting box is supplied unequipped, without lampholders or mounting plate, which should be ordered separately as required.
Mounting boxes
May be used for surface or flush (recessed) mounting, finished grey gloss. Available to suit the two sizes of surface and flush mounting lampholder plates. All boxes are 95.3mm height, 63.5mm depth, fixing centres 57.2mm vertically spaced. SLB/1 box 95.3mm width, SLB/3 286mm (fixing centres 57.2mm/247.7mm horizontally, respectively).
Lamp mounting plates, surface mount
For use with surface-mounted mounting boxes, these plates are finished grey gloss, and are supplied complete with two fixing bars, four screws and earth wire.
Lamp mounting plates, flush mount
For use with flush (recessed) mounted mounting boxes, these plates are finished satin chrome, and are supplied complete with two fixing bars, four screws and earth wire.
Lampholder
For use with SLB/1 & 3 mounting plates, this is rated 240VAC, and is intended for use with 15W BC lamps. This lampholder should only be mounted such that the mains terminals are protected by a suitable enclosure, eg. SLB type box.
