This series of Blackmagic Design video interfaces have been designed to aid the recording or monitoring of HDMI or SDI video.
Designed to aid edit monitoring on TV, projector or monitor display, the UltraStudio Monitor 3G links a Thunderbolt 3 connection and outputs 10bit SDI and HDMI video. Often used in conjunction with software including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premiere Pro, has a single SDI video output, sixteen channels of audio in SD or HD format – via SDI; a single HDMI output, and eight channels of embedded SD or HD audio via the HDMI output.
Amongst others, supported Codec formats include AVCHD, Canon XF MPEG2, Digital SLR, DV-NTSC, DV-PAL, XDCAM EX/HD/HD422, Apple ProRes 4444, , Apple ProRes 422/422LT/422HQ, uncompressed 8-bit 4:2:2, and uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2/4:4:4.
