MANFROTTO BACKPACKS
Manfrotto backpacks are designed to protect still or video-camera hardware from knocks, bangs and the outdoor elements whilst leaving equipment within easy and accessible reach.
The Pro-V-410 and Pro-V-610 have been designed to cater for the videographer with small to medium video cameras or DSLR cameras with a video rig. The inside of the backpack has interchangeable padded dividers to custom design the padding to suit the equipment. Padded internal compartments can be accessed via a zipped door and can also be accessed from the outside of the bag via a second zipped door. Dedicated laptop storage measuring 410 x 310 x 40mm on the Pro-V-410 and 460 x 320 x 40mm on the Pro-V-610 can be found on the side of the bag that would be closest to the user's back during carrying. The front of the bag opens out to give access to stored equipment and the included work mat gives the user a clean surface to rest equipment whilst setting up.
The black nylon backpacks are coated with water-repellent to maintain resistance to moisture. However, if the weather worsens, the included waterproof rain- protector can be used to cover the whole bag. The reverse side of the rain protector has a silver ultraviolet (UV) protective coating that also deflects direct sunshine and therefore heat from the black backpack and equipment within.
As well as adjustable shoulder straps, the Pro-V bags have ergonomic additional harnesses including waist-belt and sternum-straps, both adjustable and fastening with plastic clasps. The harness system can be folded away and the bag can be attached to a compatible trolley for wheeled transportation. A dedicated tripod position on the rear-facing side of the bag has an adjustable strap and a foot pouch to steady the tripod legs.
Manfrotto Professional Backpack Series - Backpack 20, Backpack 30, and Backpack 50
These three models, in differing sizes, have all been designed for the photographer on the move. With durable and water-repellent coated, synthetic fabric, outers and the Manfrotto Camera Protection System (CPS) using 'Exo-Tough' shock-diffusion technology, the bags offer protection from moisture as well as bump and bang shock resistance. A fold out rain protector can be installed quickly to create a waterproof barrier between the rain and the bag when the weather deteriorates.
The inside has interchangeable dividers to custom fit the protection around the equipment. A dedicated tablet compartment with zip, as well as multiple mesh and zippered pockets (2x mesh pockets on Backpack 20 and 30, 3x on Backpack 50) are provided on the inside of the front opening door of the bag. The front opening door can be partially opened to gain access to the equipment, normally a camera, from the top without the need to fully open the bag. A single pocket on each outer side of the bag can be used for additional storage or tripod position, whilst the main tripod connection and tripod foot holder can be found on the front facing side of the bag. A laptop compartment measuring 385 x 240x 20mm on the Backpack 20 and 30, 460 x 240 x 20mm on the Backpack 50, is situated on the side of the bag that is positioned closest to the user's back when carrying. Access to this compartment can be found via zip situated on the top of the bag. These bags have a designated connection strap for fitting on a compatible trolley.
