APART INSTALLATION LOUDSPEAKERS - KUBO Series
The KUBO series are cube-shaped loudspeakers offered as low impedance only types or with both low-impedance and 70V or 100V line connections, designed for interior spaces where both sound and aesthetics are important factors.
U-shaped 'K-Mount' brackets are included to allow for wall or ceiling mounting, with vertical or horizontal positioning up to 140-degrees. Adjustable 'K-Bolts' positioned on the sides of the ABS plastic cabinets connect the speaker to the 'K-Mount' and allow for repositioning and locking by hand or using a spanner. Safety cables, included, can be attached between speaker and wall fixing for added security.
The 3-inch, polypropylene full-range drivers of the KUBO3 and KUBO3T give a frequency response of 94Hz-20kHz. The KUBO5 and KUBO5T give the same frequency response from the 5.25-inch, coated-paper LF drivers and 1-inch tweeter.
Input and link connections are positioned on the rear panel and are via 2-pin, detachable, terminal block (Phoenix style), 'Euroblock' connectors capable of accepting wire at a maximum size of 2.5 mm². The KUBO 3T and 5T have 70V and 100V taps which can be adjusted by the user via a recessed rotary selector switch.
End caps attach to the sides of the speakers with fourteen integrated neodymium magnets, hiding the 70/100V tap selector, 'K-Bolt' angle/fixing adjusters and 'K-Mount' bracket fixings.
